rocks+dirt=baby magnet

I went outside around 5:00 when the wind started blowing and the temperature cooled down. I got one flower bed weeded and Emma (without even being asked) did most of the other one. Sawyer got a little extra something in his diet today. Yum.

After the dirt, he moved on to sticks and leaves.

Don't you just love his curls!? Sigh.

After I had taken a bunch of pictures of Sawyer, Emma asked me to take some of her. Who taught her to pose like that!? Seriously!

It felt like it had been forever since I had taken pictures. In reality its only been about a week. It was fun to bust out the camera this evening. In my pursuit of mastering portraiture, I have developed a bit of a distaste for taking regular old snapshots. Sad. I need to get back to capturing the everyday with my photographs. Not to mention my scrapbooking. It really has been forever since I did any of that.

Great pictures! Your kids are just adorable. And Emma's posing: I think it's a girl thing. Samantha does that and I have to tell her to just be natural. Of couse, I lounge around the house that way all the time, so maybe it's that...

Duh, Lindsay. I taught her everything she knows...

Those curls are pretty cute.

Hyrum also likes eating rocks, dirt, grass and sticks. I really need to grow those extra eyes and arms for when we go outside.

Yeah, I've been wondering if you know how to take casual snapshots or if any of your pictures turn out badly. I've got jealousy in my bones!

Great pictures! I love baby curls! Andrew just has the slightest waves, I covet those curls.

Another thing, what is the mothering styles test? Inquiring minds want to know.

I go in phases with photography, but since blogging I'm pretty interested in recording normal life even if it's not artsy-looking and fabulous the way I wish it would be. A lot of times I just snap quick photos to go with my day/posts and concentrate on better photos when I can.
