This morning we woke up to snow on the ground and the high for the day was 44 degrees! I am so over the winter already! I really hope it warms up soon so that we can release our butterflies outside. Just watch, we'll jump straight to 90 degree weather next week and I'll be complaining about the heat.

butterflies, in the beginning
Slade got a Butterfly Pavilion for his birthday. The caterpillars arrived Monday and are squirming around in their jars on the counter. They have already gotten quite a bit bigger. At times they don't move and I wonder if I've killed them.

This is so cool- I have never heard of such a thing. Mya would dig it- where did you get it?
I totally skipped over the link- checking it out now...
We've seen these advertised, and my kids are really wanting one. (or two) Keep us posted on how it goes!
I saw a comment of yours on a friend's blog & stopped by. LOVE your photography!
Is this a repeatable things, i.e. get more caterpillars? Or do you release the butterflies and then they're gone?
