This morning, I was talking to my sister, Keri, on the phone. When I mentioned our anniversary, she said, "I am so glad that you married such a great guy. He really is so great. At the time, I really thought you were making such a mistake. I guess you were smarter than the rest of us."
Everyone told me I was crazy. I knew they were wrong.
Today, four apartments, four houses and four kids later, I am more in love with him than ever.
Dave, I am so incredibly happy that I get to spend eternity with you.

Congratulations you two. That is so great that you lasted and will last forever :) Thanks so much for your kind words on my blog. Keep in touch :)
Happy Anniversary you two! You are such a cute couple, and you have a great family!! :)
Congrats! So I want to know why Dave was so not right? Was he a big playboy, a rebel, or was his hair just too cool for school?
I've been inundated (you know, tricks for the grandkids), no time to surf the blogusphere. But I'll add my two cents about my wonderful son-in-law. Dave's a great husband and dad, even plays games with his mother-in-law and acts like he wants to - not to mention Black Friday shopping with me two years in a row! Dave, I love you too!
His hair was cool. Man, I miss those curls.
Dave just wasn't ready to settle down. He wanted to date freshman and have fun. Being serious with me just wasn't fun, I guess. We dated off and on for a year and a half. He tried his very best to be a jerk and get me to go away. But I knew fairly on that I wanted to marry him, despite him being a jerk, and since we were in folk dance together it was kind of hard to really get away. Just had to wait for him to be ready.
Congrats on 9 years! Wow, 4 apartments, 4 houses and 4 kids in that time, amazing!
Lindsay, I think you are wonderful too. Thanks for marrying my brother, you complete him.
