Dave and I went out to dinner last night to PF Chang's. Yum. We were planning on going to a play afterwards but didn't make it in time. Instead we wandered around Home Depot, drove around our neighborhood and ended up at home. We had the Great Wall of Chocolate to enjoy but no forks so I snuck in the house to get some. The kids were supposed to be in bed by then but were instead watching TV. After enjoying our cake, we looked in the window to see if the kids were in bed yet. Still watching TV. Finally, we decided to just go on in because paying our babysitter so we could sit on the porch seemed pointless.
We came in to find:
Emma holding a fussy Sawyer
our nice crystal goblets out
crayon all over the wall above the couch
and the babysitter asleep on the floor
Nice.

Sounds like it's time to have the babysitter pay YOU! Nice, indeed!
Holy Crap did you freak out? We have never had a real babysitter before, only family, so I haven't had to deal with that but I would have been very upset.
I'm just getting caught up on a week's worth of email, blogs, etc. I love your home's greens - can't wait to see them for real. Even more I love the pictures of my darling grandkids. I've GOTTA get better at my own picture taking!
Jill,
Well, I didn't freak out. I didn't even say anything. There was really no major damage and I just hoped that she was really embarrassed. We won't be calling her again, I think.
That is hilarious. That was always my biggest fear when I was babysitting. Don't worry it never to me.
"It never happened to me." Sorry I posted the last comment without reading it.
