snowflakes

I'm not going to set myself up for failure this year with a promise to blog everyday. However, we do have an advent activity calendar all typed and ready to go so I figure I can share some of the fun things we do this month.

Tonight, we cut out snowflakes. The boys are always thrilled when I put scissors in their hands since I generally have to keep them hidden away. I just loved their intense looks of concentration.

Our table was covered in snowflakes and paper scraps. We experimented with different folding techniques (some of which worked) and I tried to get fancy. Currently our wintery masterpieces are hanging on the banister garland. That is all the snow I need, thank you very much. I'll keep this mild 50 degree weather for a few more weeks if possible.

Ah, Lindsay, look at the sweet boy giving you hugs. Bet you forgot all about "his words" from your previous post.

What? No picture of the banister? I guess I'll just have to come on over!
