My brother got engaged on Christmas day to the lovely Amy. Yesterday, we braved the cold, wind, and snow at Gardner Village to take engagement pictures. Besides the fact that this was for family, Amy is a photography major so I felt pressure. Hope she likes them!
Kevin's sister is Amy and my brother married an Amy. A good name! What a beautiful couple. And 2 photographers in one family? That hardly seems fair...
I love the first one except for Colin's glasses. The second is great for the red shutters and Amy's yellow shoes, the only one where her shoes show. Too bad Colin isn't looking at the camera. Great composition on the third, but not the best of them. The fourth is good but nothing unique. I like the fifth because you always do a great job with close ups, especially the eyes. On the other hand, I'm a bit old-fashioned and not fond of whiskers. Amy's darling in the sixth picture, but Colin looks uncomfortable. And the last one is the most "them" with her grinning at him, but probably not the best engagement picture. So I'd probably vote for a combo of one-two-three. How about your thoughts?

My favorites are 2, 4, and 6. Great shots, Lin, Franny, and Amy! I love the colors.
Really exquisite, Lindsay. You are a fantastic photographer. Anyone would be happy with those.

Wow- these are wonderful. It doesn't hurt that you have two good looking people to take pictures of either! I just love how the colors pop!
Ooh, very nice! I really like #2, 3, 5, and 6. It helps to have such attractive subjects!
These pictures turned out great. You do great work.
