the front door
my big, beautiful, "nice" tree in the front room (I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture)

garland on the banisters with a few random stockings

and my Pink Christmas gift that arrived todayWe decorate the day after Thanksgiving and everything comes down on New Year's Day. There are always more things that I want to make each year--an advent calendar, more ornaments, matching stockings. Maybe this year....

I enjoy reading your blog everyday, but I don't understand the motivation to blog daily. Why not just blog when you feel like you have something to say, some thoughts to share, or just need a few minutes away from it all? (Of course, that latter might be every day :0)
I like that you put part of your Santa's in the kitchen. What a good use of space. As for your blog. I love reading even your mundane day-to-day activities.
You are SUCH a great decorator! I love your formal tree--just spectacular! I'll bet it's nice to have room for your tree AND a kids tree. :) I'll take a picture of our manger and post it. That's what we're doing instead of a tree.
And I love reading about your life. I was thinking that my life is pretty mundane after reading about YOUR life. :)
