I asked my cousin Britt to let me practice on her sweet two week old baby. Photographing someone else's child was ever so much harder than I thought it would be. It was a good learning experience for me. I even posted these on a photography forum for critique. Now that is a little scary but how else do you learn, right!?
She is super cute. Thanks Britt for letting me play!

Super cute! I especially like the first one with the dark background. Did you edit it that way or get it with real lighting?
And yeah for Sawyer becoming a big boy. As for Nathan's terrible twos, maybe you'll get new furniture out of it - oh wait, you still have Sawyer's twos to go :0) Enjoy 'em cuz the gypsies won't take 'em!
Wow! I have really enjoyed looking at your pictures, but that first one of the baby on the black background takes the cake! And I love the one of Emma on the red bridge (or is it just that I love the red bridge?). You are amazing. Quit it. It makes me look more and more like a blob by the acheivement. Hmmm...maybe you should take some pictures of me, and then I might look different. Then again, we've all seen me in pictures...some things are better left undone.
