for Heather and Brett

ETA: My brother-in-law, Brett, is being deployed to Afghanistan for a year. His wife asked me to take pictures of him with their three boys. Talk about feeling pressure! But I think I managed to capture a few good ones.


And here is one of Tyler just because its cute.

great photos! what a wonderful idea.

my husband works at Walter Reed in D.C. and we always hear of the greatest ideas of things to do for the kids while dad is gone.
my friend bought those talking frames and put a photo of dad and daughter in each one. every night her daughter would push the button where it said, "Goodnight sweetie, I love you" (with the dad's voice) i thought it was the best idea.

our blogging friend tasha did an operation good mail, where she had all of us send something each month to the wife while the husband was gone in Iraq.
being here in d.c. i so see a need for finding ways to support those wonderful families who give so much of their time and energy.
giving your gift of photography is wonderful!
