I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean rows will I have there, a hive for the honeybee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean rows will I have there, a hive for the honeybee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.
And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight's all a-glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet's wings.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

What a pretty PRETTY girl! Or else you are really good at Photoshop :-) I got the choir music for the spring semester (starts next week) and the Women's Choir is singing a setting of that poem. I'll let you know if it's pretty. But you could probably hear one on YouTube.
At least you can blame someone else for the wrongs of your child since she is so NOT like you! That is classic.
Wow! She is beautiful. Good luck with that. P.S. I need some good kids chapter books to read to my kids. Any suggestions?
okay so when are you traveling to texas to photograph our family.
I like how you captured Emma in that picture. Thanks for talking about books you're reading on your blog. If only I'd read you're not enjoying your current book club book before I checked it out from the library...
Love, love Yeats. When I was in London, we spent a few days in the Lakes District, and I definitely felt the inspiration that all these Irish/British poets enjoyed- the surroundings are so incredibly beautiful that you couldn't help but be inspired.
Very pretty picture of Emma!
That is so great. I would not say a city full of lots and lots of people, but just a few good friends and family nearby for when I wanted a visit:). How about you?
I think I'd take an idyllic location like Yeats but have it be in easy proximity to family and friends too.
