We finished our vacation with a day at Lagoon. We totally lucked out with great weather and small crowds. Also, I was smart enough to invite Aunt Megan to join us so we were able to divide and conquer the rides. Emma went on everything. Slade did most of the big rides. Nathan wanted to do the bigger rides but was too short. Sawyer was happy to do whatever.
I only went on about three rides. I'm not a huge thrill seeker so it was okay. I would have liked to go on a few more but it doesn't really work out with a baby. Too bad there weren't better shows to entertain me. Mostly I just sat in the shade holding Anne and eating too many snacks.
Sawyer had fallen fast asleep in the stroller by the time we took this picture. I took the boys and Anne home while Dave and Emma stayed with Megan to ride some more. The boys slept while Anne screamed the whole way home. She had been so amazingly good the whole vacation that I quickly forgave her. After pancakes for a late dinner, it was time to go to bed and say goodbye to vacation. What a wonderful time we had.

We've still never taken our kids to Lagoon. Maybe someday. We're just not thrill ride folks, and that seems to be about all there is at Lagoon. I'll probably be like you, pay a bunch of money to sit in the shade and overeat, lol.
So glad that you got to have a vacation! So glad that you took pictures and then shared. Only wish I could have come with you. But things are going well at my "paid" vacation.
