This layout took me WAY too long to make, mostly because I am a perfectionist. I had to have the perfect photo so I spent hours looking through photos. Then I decided I had to try to personalize it so I spent a while playing with the papers only to decide that I didn't like what I was doing. I used the original papers, colors, basic layout design and just decided to get it done! I haven't completed a page in a really long time so I am feeling good to have done something. I completed this page but there were also two challenges and a mini album that I didn't do yet. Slowly but surely...

now i'm rockin'
I am taking an on-line digital scrapbooking class from the ever so fantabulous Jessica Sprague called Now We're Rockin' with Photoshop. I know a lot about using Photoshop for editing pictures (though there is still tons to learn) but I am enjoying learning tricks for scrapbooking. Click on it to see the layout bigger.

That looks so great! I have never gone digital but have this crazy curiosity about it. Right now, I like the tactile artsy feeling of raw supplies- but I would give digital a go just for the experience. I know nothing of scrapping with Photoshop!
I really like the picture you ended up choosing - so Nathan, so THREE. So maybe that extra time searching was worth it. I also like the way you cropped it in close.
So, SO cute! The page looks perfect, clearly time well spent. I'm sure the eventually you will also be able to cut down on the amount of time it takes. At least one can hope...
That looks great. I've been wondering if I'd like online scrapbooking. What do you think?
You've got serious skills.
And the perfect picture.
You're good, Lindsay.
I've been thinking of turning to the computer for my scrapbooking - but have lots of questions about it, will have to check your link out. Thanks! btw - really cute photo and layout spread!
