I must know more about the Sadie Hawkins fiasco. Did anyone know? Did you race home for clean undies? Did you ever go out with that guy again?
Luckily, it was not totally obvious but yes we did head home for new undies. Also I was totally lucky to be out with a bunch of friends--eight of us, no one paired off. It was so much fun. Wet pants and all. Sadly, this wasn't the only incident of no bladder control. Too much information?
I love that book! I'm always surprised when someone else I know loves an obscure book that I love. I don't know why, though. I'm friends with people who love to read- why does that surprise me?
I hate camping, too. Dirt, mess, sleeping on the ground, and worrying that my kids will get lost. What's to like? Hiking or picnics in the canyon- that's fun.
Thanks for the tip on a good book. I've got it on hold at the library now.
